The Bible verse almost everyone knows:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Lord talks to Nicodemus
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
John the Baptist answers:
John 3:35 The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand.
The Lord Jesus speaks to those who sought to Kill Hm for making Himself equal with God.
