The Apostle John stresses Love and Truth, much needed during the Tribulation. 2 John 1:1The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
2 John 1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.
2 John 1:5-6And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.
A prediction for the son of Ruth Ruth 4:15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.

Joh writes to believing Jews: And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.1 John 1:4 Remember this: 1 John 2:5But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. 1 John 2:10He that loveth his brother abideth in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. Love God and keep Him first in your heart and life. 1 John 2:15Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. Peter reminds them of God’s Love: 1 John 3:1Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Children of God love Him and each other: 1 John 3:10-11In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. How they can know their relationship with God 1 John 3:14-18We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. … Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. John is concluding that The Lord Jesus is God. 1 John 5:1-3Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

Peter issues a warning 2 Peter 2:15Which have forsaken the right way, and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loved the wages of unrighteousness;

Appears 4 times The Song of Deborah Judges 5:31 So let all thine enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years. The wife of Samson questions his love for her. Judges 14:16And Samson’s wife wept before him, and said, Thou dost but hate me, and lovest me not: thou hast put forth a riddle unto the children of my people, and hast not told it me. And he said unto her, Behold, I have not told it my father nor my mother, and shall I tell it thee? His wife had every right to question his love. Judges 16:4 And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah. Now Delilah questions his love. Judges 16:15And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

The Apostle John writes to the 12 tribes (Jews). This epistle will become very important to the Jew during the Tribulation.
Promised a Crown of Life James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.
Again, he reminds them of the importance to LOVE God! James 2:5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
Obey the scripture. James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well
Joshua instructs as they are in the promise land Joshua 22:5 But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul. Above all else: Joshua 23:11Take good heed therefore unto yourselves, that ye love the LORD your God.
These Epistles, written by those closest to the Lord Jesus and His teachings, will no doubt become very important to the Jews during the 7-year Tribulation.
