Peter writes to the Jews that have been scattered throughout the then known world. Remember Fear, Love God. He is coming again. This epistle will become very important to the Jew during the Tribulation.
He reminds them, you love Him even though you haven’t seen Him.
1 Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
