Rewards Part 2

Rewards are for Service; Salvation is a gift from God.
There is a difference between Gift and Reward.
Gift: given free …. Reward: given for something done/accomplished.
Rewards in the church age are explained by the apostle Paul:
Romans 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
1 Corinthians 3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.
1 Corinthians 3:14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward.
1 Corinthians 9:17-18 For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation of the gospel is committed unto me. What is my reward then? Verily that, when I preach the gospel, I may make the gospel of Christ without charge, that I abuse not my power in the gospel.
Colossians 2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
Colossians 3:24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
1 Timothy 5:18 For the scripture saith, thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.
2 Timothy 4:14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:
