The second return of Christ the King, to rule for 1000 year. Zechariah 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
The Mount of Olives in Jerusalem, sometimes also referred to as Mount Olivet is an important landmark, located next to the Old City of Jerusalem. The Mount of Olives refers to the ridge located east of the city and gets its name from the olive groves that at one time covered the land. A significant and meaningful landmark, the Mount of Olives dates back to biblical times and is important to both Jews and Christians.

The Mount of Corruption is considered one of the seven mountains on which Jerusalem rests.

Isaiah 27:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the great trumpet shall be blown, and they shall come which were ready to perish in the land of Assyria, and the outcasts in the land of Egypt, and shall worship the LORD in the holy mount at Jerusalem.
It is one of the proposed mountains for the transfiguration. Mount Tabor is another mountain that has traditionally been considered the Mount of Transfiguration.
As a “high place,” it was long a center of idol worship, and its outstanding reference in the Bible is as the scene of Elijah’s confrontation with the false prophets of Baal.

A mountain east of Lebanon. Probably it may be the same as Mount Hermon, or one of its three peaks.

A mountain range across Jordan, to the east and south-east of the Dead Sea. Hebrew meaning is “‘Those-on-the-other-side’ of the Jordan.” Its northern part was called Pisgah and the highest peak of Pisgah was Mount Nebo.
Numbers 27:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Get thee up into this mount Abarim, and see the land which I have given unto the children of Israel. Numbers 33:47-8 And they removed from Almondiblathaim, and pitched in the mountains of Abarim, before Nebo. And they departed from the mountains of Abarim, and pitched in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho.

The land of Israel is very mountainous. Over 45 mountains are referenced in Scripture. The mountains all seem to have names, and most of the have a city with the same name. Some of the mountains have more than one name, others are part of a range of mountains or the range itself.
There are many mountains in Scripture. They varied in size, shape, and location, but they all bring us closer to God. They bridged the gap between God and man for just the briefest of moments. Many of the mountains named were along the path of the Exodus from Egypt to the Promised land.
