The term Godhead is found three times in the King James Version: Acts 17:29, Romans 1:20, Colossians 2:9. The word Godhead is used to refer to God’s essential nature, the Trinity.
Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man’s device. Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead ; so that they are without excuse: Colossians 2:9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD : The FATHER, The SON, and The HOLY SPIRIT
“The Time is at Hand”, this phrase is used twice in the Revelation of Jesus Christ. Once in the beginning: Revelation 1:3 and again at the end Revelation 22:10. Like a set of parentheses. Revelation 1:3 Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand. A few things to consider concerning this passage: This book is a revelation (revealing) of Christ It’s to show us things which must come to pass. John, the writer, was to write of all the things he saw. The person who reads, hears and keeps these things written will be blessed. “FOR THE TIME IS AT HAND”. Time (according to Webster) a measure of duration, a system for identifying a moment. Our system includes words such as: millennium, century, score, decade, year, month, fortnight, week, day, hour, minute, second, millisecond, nano second, half-a-second, split second. No matter how we define time, how we categorize it, use it or misuse it, WE CANNOT STOP IT.
It does seem that the older one gets the faster time flies, but this is not true. There are still 60 seconds in a minute, 60 minutes in an hour, 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week … The Bible teaches us that everyone must give an account of our time here on earth, and one day we will hear: “For the time is at hand”.
Every year at the end of December, we are faced with a New Year, and it’s time to evaluate what WAS accomplished this past year, as “the time is at hand”. How we evaluate our past year depends on our standards. Some time in January you will receive a form in the mail, a form that wants you to evaluate your year in terms of money. That’s right, INCOME TAX TIME. The time is at hand to evaluate what we’ve accomplished dollar wise thru out the year so we can support our Federal Government by paying taxes. And depending on the State you live in, it will also want a report so it can collect it’s share.
We are also to take this time to take stock of what’s happened in our lives over the past year. If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit our short comings. RESULT: many will make resolutions, hopefully for the best. The resolves will be to quit doing such and such, saying this or that, going here or there, being this or that, etc. The effort is to change the outside in hopes it will change our feelings inside.
Through out the scripture it is stated that the LORD GOD created Heaven and Earth.
Genesis 1:1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. Exodus 20:11For in six days the Lordmade heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. Exodus 31:17It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed. 2 Kings 19:15And Hezekiah prayed before the Lord, and said, O Lord God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth. 2 Chronicles 2:12Huram said moreover, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, that made heaven and earth, who hath given to David the king a wise son, endued with prudence and understanding, that might build an house for the Lord, and an house for his kingdom. Psalm 115:15Ye are blessed of the Lord which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 124:8Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth. Psalm 134:3 The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion. Psalm 146:6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever: Isaiah 37:16O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, that dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth: thou hast made heaven and earth.
Acts 4:24And when they heard that, they lifted up their voice to God with one accord, and said, Lord, thou art God, which hast made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all that in them is: Acts 14:15And saying, Sirs, why do ye these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that ye should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein: Acts 17:24God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands; Revelation 14:7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
During his earthly ministry the LORD Jesus suggested Heaven and Earth would pass away.
Matthew 5:18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Matthew 24:35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. Luke 16:17And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the law to fail. Luke 21:33Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
The Apostle Peter tells for the Heaven and Earth being destroyed.
2 Peter 3:1-12 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:… But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men….But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
In verse 13 he reminds us of the promise of God.
2 Peter 3:13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavensand a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
This
promise from God was recorded thousands of years ago.
Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavensand a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. Isaiah 66:22For as the new heavensand the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
The Apostle John,
recording the Revelation of Jesus Christ, writes that this will happen after
the great white throne judgement (Rev 20:11).
Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heavenand a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Luke 20:13 Then said the lord of the vineyard, What shall I do? I will send my beloved son: it may be they will reverence him when they see him. The Apostle Paul referees to believers: Romans 1:7To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 9:25As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. Romans 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the father’s sakes. Romans 12:19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Romans 16:5 Likewise greet the church that is in their house. Salute my well-beloved Epaenetus, who is the firstfruits of Achaia unto Christ. Romans 16:8-9Greet Amplias my beloved in the Lord. Salute Urbane, our helper in Christ, and Stachys my beloved. Romans 16:12Salute Tryphena and Tryphosa, who labour in the Lord. I asked God to take away my pain. God said, No. It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up. I askedGod to make my handicapped child whole. God said, No. Her spirit was whole, her body is only temporary. I asked God to grant me patience. God said, No. Patience is a by-product of tribulations; it isn’t granted, it is learned. I asked God to give me happiness. God said, No. I give you blessings. Happiness is up to you. I asked God to spare me pain. God said, No. Suffering draws you apart from worldly cares and brings you closer to me. I asked God to make my spirit grow. God said, No. You must grow on your own, but I will prune you to make you fruitful. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. God said, No. I will give you life so that you may enjoy all things. I asked God to help me love others, as much as he loves me. God said, Ahhhh, you’re starting to understand.
“To the world you might be one person, But to one person you just might be the world.“
Around New Years day, all the media will be reviewing the past year. WHAT WAS THE TOP TEN STORIES last year? NATIONALLY? LOCALLY?
What were the top ten stories in your life? A new Car? Home? Boat, Motorcycle? Ski Doo? A new Job? A new Baby? A Big Vacation? A close call with death? A major operation? An Accident? Death of a Loved one? A falling out with family? Friend?
Think about it for a minute. Then list the top ten events in your life. Now ask yourself three questions.
⬤ Was God involved in these event? ⬤ Was God honored in these events? ⬤ Was God glorified in these event?
God involved? Romans 14:8For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. 2 Corinthians 5:15And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.
God Honored? Romans 6:12-13Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God. Romans 12:1-2I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
God Glorified? 1 Corinthians 6:19-20What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Yes, the Lord God, Christ Jesus, died for your sins and offered salvation to all who will accept it. (Romans 10:9-13). And then He wants to be involved in your life, Honored by your life, Glorified by your life. Will/Do you let Him? PAST………PRESENT……….FUTURE…….. represents our life
PAST…. Is History, can’t be changed, only put under the blood and forgiven!
PRESENT….NOW! Today, the time to Involve God in your life. Honor God in your activities. Glorify God in all that you do.
FUTURE….The hope of things to come. When it becomes Past, how will the top ten events in your life be represented?
At the end of this year, What will be the top ten stories in your life?
Read 2 Tim0thy 1:3-18 New Year – What will it bring? Predictions are being made. Newspapers, magazines, Radio, TV all making predictions … an advertisement …for an amount of money will predict what is going to happen to you. What does the Bible have to say about this… James 4:13-16 Go to now, ye that say, To day or to morrow we will go into such a city, and continue there a year, and buy and sell, and get gain: Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that. But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil. Examples: Genesis 11:4And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Luke12:18 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. What does Tomorrow bring? Only God knows. Proverbs 27:1 Boast not thyself of to morrow; for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth. But what about all these Astrologers?Ecclesiastes 10:14A fool also is full of words: a man cannot tell what shall be; and what shall be after him, who can tell him? What Will the New Year bring? Look at 2 Timothy 1:12 For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day. What Wonderful, Beautiful Promise … And as most of God’s promises, it contains a condition — WHICH I HAVE COMMITTED! Why do people not know they are saved? Not committed! (They worry, Fret, Fear, Go to fortune Tellers, Read their Horoscopes, Astrology charts). 2 Timothy 2:19Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten cubits. And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were of one measure and one size. The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of the other cherub. And he set the cherubims within the inner house: and they stretched forth the wings of the cherubims, so that the wing of the one touched the one wall, and the wing of the other cherub touched the other wall; and their wings touched one another in the midst of the house. 2 Chronicles 3:11-12 Ezra 2:59 And these were they which went up from Telmelah, Telharsa, Cherub, Addan, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, and their seed, whether they were of Israel: Nehemiah 7:61 And these were they which went up also from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father’s house, nor their seed, whether they were of Israel. Ezekiel 41:18 And it was made with cherubims and palm trees, so that a palm tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. The Garden of Eden. In various religious traditions, the Edenic or heavenly abode of righteous souls after death. According to some forms of Christian belief, an intermediate resting place for righteous souls awaiting the Resurrection.
The First mention is to the Malefactor (A wrongdoer or evildoer) on the cross next to Christ. He acknowledged that Christ was God. Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom. Luke 23:43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Second time was by the Apostle Paul, describing an experience (probably his). 2 Corinthians 12:4How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
And then by the Risen Christ to the assembly at Ephesus: Revelation 2:7He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
Paradise awaits all who believe in the DEATH, BURIAL and RESURECTION of the Lord, and confess that HE is GOD.
