Reasons to Memorize Scripture

There are many, many reasons to memorize scripture and perhaps one of the best is listed in Psalm 119:11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee”.

Another thought, since all sin will be erased from our memory before we enter into heaven, perhaps all we will have is what we know about the Word of God!
Psalm 103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.
