THE REAL Question. This is not to imply that Babies who die don’t go to Heaven. 2 Samuel 12:32 David’s Son But will Children be taken in the Rapture? The answer should be based on Scripture, not emotion.
Rightly dividing the Word Matthew 24:19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (Mark 13:17, Luke 21:23) Verses oft times quoted to prove Babies are Raptured. These verses are speaking of the middle of the Tribulation, not the Rapture.
No verses in Scripture either way. Scripture sometimes leaves us with only principles not black and white fact. i.e. Smoking, Movies, TV.
Some of the principles taught about children: Genesis 6 The flood … Only Noah’s children spared. Genesis 19 Sodom and Gomorrah … Only 2 of Lot’s Daughters Numbers 16 Korah, Datham, Abiram withstood Moses -Read verse 27 Joshua 7 Achan sin … who paid for it -Read verse 24 Daniel 6 Who was thrown to the Lions when Daniel was removed? Whether these children went to Heaven or not is pure speculation.
Do all Children go to Heaven? It is taught that until a child reaches the age of accountability they do … BUT this is not about when a child dies, it is about “will they be Raptured”.
The Tribulation lasts 7 years. see TRIBULATION A child left behind has 7 years to become a believer and pass into the 1000 year kingdom.
Will Children be Raptured? Does it really matter? The real question is will YOU be part of the Rapture when it occurs?
Proverbs 12:15The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. Proverbs 14:12 There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits. Proverbs 16:25There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. Many people today are deceived …. Deceived in Religious things… Deceived in Spiritual things … Paul sums it up when warning Timothy. (2 Timothy 3:1-7)This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. False Cults and Religious Books, and Bible Translations abound…confusion for all … Cults are on the upswing … Up to 10,000 cults still exist today in the United States, according to psychologist Steve Eichel … WHY??? Paul has the answer to the problem: Ephesians 4:14That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; WE need to grow up, mature, quit acting like kids… The Lord Jesus predicts that during the Tribulation: Matthew 24:24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Paul also warns of this: 2 Thessalonians 2:9-11 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie Consider the following: 1 Corinthians 10:12 Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall. 1 Corinthians 15:33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. Galatians 6:3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Galatians 3:7Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. James 1:26If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain.
Just an interesting look at Noah’s Family. Three sons are listed SHEM, HAM and JAPHETH, no daughters. Was Noah 500 years old before he had children? This seems strange but the answer could lay in the fact that the world had become very wicked and any children born earlier had fallen into the ways of the world and would perish in the flood. (Read Genesis 6:1-8)
Genesis 5:32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth. It appears Noah was 502 years old when Shem was born; Genesis 11:10-11 These are the generations of Shem: Shem was an hundred years old, and begat Arphaxad two years after the flood: and Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters. making Japheth born 1-2 years prior to Shem and Ham born sometime after Shem: Japheth then Shem then Ham. (Genesis 9:24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son (Ham) had done unto him). (Japheth, Shem, Ham oldest to youngest, in order of age). Shem is in the Godly linage – therefore this is probably why he is listed first.
If there were any other children born between the age of 500-600 years of Noah’s life, they probably went the way of the world and perished in the flood.
After the Flood. Genesis 9:18And the sons of Noah, that went forth of the ark, were Shem, and Ham, and Japheth: and Ham is the father of Canaan. Genesis 10:1-2 Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood. The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras. (7 Sons) Genesis 10:6 And the sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, and Phut, and Canaan. (4 Sons) Genesis 10:21-22Unto Shem also, the father of all the children of Eber, the brother of Japheth the elder, even to him were children born. The children of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram. (5 Sons) Genesis 9:28-29 And Noah lived after the flood three hundred and fifty years. And all the days of Noah were nine hundred and fifty years: and he died.
No other children are listed in scripture for Noah and his wife.
Noah is mentioned 8 times in the new testament: In the genealogy of Jesus Luke 3:36 which was the son of Cainan, which was the son of Arphaxad, which was the son of Sem, which was the son of Noe, which was the son of Lamech, And by the Lord Jesus Mathew 24:37-38But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, Also recorded in Luke 17:26-27And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man. They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all. Hebrews 11:7By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. 1 Peter 3:20which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 2 Peter 2:5 and spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly;

Isaiah 49:23 And kings shall be thy nursing fathers, and their queens thy nursing mothers: they shall bow down to thee with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of thy feet; and thou shalt know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me. 1 John 2:28And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
The whole passage speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his earthly ministry. And this Psalm was fulfilled through Judas and his betrayal (John 13:18,17:12).
41Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. 4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. 5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? 6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. 7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt. 8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. 9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. Judas the betrayer Mark 14:18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said,Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me. Luke 22:21But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table. Luke 22:48 But Jesus said unto him,Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss? John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me. ACTS 1:16Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus. 10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. 12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
Speaks of the King of Glory…. Second Coming 24 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 1 Corinthians 10:26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place? ROMANS 10:6-7 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah. 7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 1 Timothy 1:17Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen. 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in. 1 Timothy 6:15Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords; 10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah. Of course, this speaks of the Christ (Jesus) who will rule over Israel (and the world) for 1000 years as King of Kings, Lord of Lords. (Revelation 19,20)
This Psalm will be fulfilled during the 7 year Tribulation, “Jacob’s Trouble” Jeremiah 30:7 The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee; 2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion; 3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah. 4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel. 5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions. 6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand. 7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God. 8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright. 9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.
To escape Jacob’s Trouble1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 10:9-13
A Psalm of David Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Psalms 119:172gives us a definition of what righteousness is: “All my commandments are righteousness.” 3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour. 4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not. 5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.
These are good and worthy things all people should abide by. And will be in vogue during the 7 year Tribulation.
But during the age of grace, Paul tells us who will enter into Heaven: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 10 9-13.
16 Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. 2 O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee; 3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight. The Apostle Paul write his epistles to the SAINTS at …. Romans 1:7, 1 Corinthians 1:2, 2 Corinthians 1:1, Ephesians 1:1, Philippians 1:1, Colossians 1:2 4-9 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips. The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage. I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. 10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. This verse speaks of Christ’s three days in the tomb, where he descended into hades and then rise gain three days later, and His body did not see corruption but was changed to a glorious one.Ephesians 4:9 Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Acts 13:35 Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. 11 Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. 1 Corinthians 2:9 …things which God hath prepared for them that love him. Philippians 1:23 For I am in a strait betwixt two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better: Ephesians 4:10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.) 1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall seehim as he is.
The whole passage speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his earthly ministry in which he was victorious, defeating the devil, destroying his works. Matthew 4:1-11, 1 John 3:8 40 I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. 2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. 3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord. 4 Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. 5 Many, O Lord my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. 6 Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Hebrews 10:5-8 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me: In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin thou wouldest not, neither hadst pleasure therein; which are offered by the law; 7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, Hebrews 10:9Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.Philippians 2:8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Who, but Christ (Jesus) could make this claim? 8 I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart. Phillipians2:8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. The Lord Jesus’ earthly ministry! 9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, thou knowest. 10 I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.11 Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O Lord: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me. And then from the cross… 12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me. 13 Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me. 14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil. 15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha. 16 Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. 17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
