Come into the Ark

What Does Genesis 7:1 Mean?

Noah was invited into the ark.

Genesis 6-9 God was inside the Ark when He invited Noah to come into the Ark. God is with every believer. God still invites us today. Not into the Ark, but into his family and then into Heaven when we die. And it’s thru His Son, the Lord Jesus. By believing the Gospel (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and confessing that He is God (Romans 10:9).

In Noah’s time, anyone could have gotten into the Ark, and been saved from the flood. Just as in Noah’s time, God, the Lord Jesus Christ, is in Heaven, inviting all who will come. Today there is room at the Cross (salvation) for all who will come. AS the song says:

Psalm 149

Final Judgement - Home | Facebook

The wrath of God. The Great White Throne. The final Judgement.

Psalm 149 Praise ye the Lord. Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints.
Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King.
Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp.
For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds.
Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand;
To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron;
To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord.

Now compare this text:
Revelation 20:11-15 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
I believe the New Testament Saints will be at the Great White Throne (as a Jury).

Psalm 149 Speaks of the Final Judgement (Great White Throne) Revelation 20:11
Psalm 149:7-9 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.
2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Jude 1:15 To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Psalm 149 – ROMANS 15:10-11 And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

Psalm 2

This Psalm fore tells of the Tribulation, when mankind is in complete rebellion of God
(while being religious).

Psalm 2 - John 14:6

Psalm 2:1-3 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying, Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.

This was fulfilled during the earthly ministry of Jesus.

Psalm 2:4-5 He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision. Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure. The 7 year Tribulation. Isaiah 24:5-6 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left. Joel 2:29-31 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
Psalm 2:6-7 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.
Psalm 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. The 1000 Kingdom is established. LUKE 1:32-33 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
Psalm 2:8-11 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel. Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Joel 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
Psalm 2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

Remember, there are many, many verses to reference. Too many to list here.

A Psalm is considered prophetic when it contains text that is found in the New or Old Testament books written long after the Psalm.

Prophecy, the for telling of the future is throughout the Old Testament. A quick scan of the book of Psalm is a prime example. The following is by no means complete, just a sampling:
Psalm 2 foretells of God’s dealing with sinful man during the Tribulation and the Kingdom He will set up on earth during the millieum. A key verse of when Christ became the BEGOTTEN SON is: Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Which was fulfilled when Christ was raised from the dead. The rest of the Psalm will be fulfilled after Christ returns for the Church in the Rapture.
Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
This was quoted by Christ in Matthew 21:16
Psalm 16:10 For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
This verse speaks of Christ’s three days in the tomb, where he descended into hades and then rise gain three days later, and His body did not see corruption but was changed to a gloriest one. Ephesians 4:9
Psalm 22 A very graphic description of the Crucifixion (which did not come into being until the Romans ruled). (read about the crucifixion as recorded in the Gospels). Psalm 22:1 My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Words spoken by Christ as He hung on the cross. Mark 15:34
Psalm 22:7-8 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. Actions and works spoken by those around the cross as Christ was being crucified. Matthew 27:43
Psalm 23 This passage has been a comfort to many believers over the years, but will be fulfilled for the Jew during the 7 years of tribulation (yet to come).
Psalm 24 Speaks of the King of Glory. Psalm 24:8 Who is this King of glory? Psalm 24:10 Who is this King of glory? Of course, this speaks of the Christ (Jesus) who will rule over Israel (and the world) for 1000 years. (Revelation 19,20)
Psalm 40 The whole passage speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his earthly ministry. Psalm 40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, Who, but Christ (Jesus) could have said this?
Psalm 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. The whole passage speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his earthly ministry. And this verse was fulfilled through Judas (John 13:18,17:12).
Psalm 45 Speaks of the coming Kingdom when Christ (Jesus) will reign as king forever and ever. Psalm 45:6 Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Hebrews 1:8
Psalm 46 The whole passage speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his coming earthly ministry during Jacob’s troubles (the Tribulation) and the 1000 years.
Psalm 47 Speaks of the coming Kingdom. Psalm 47:2he is a great King over all the earth. The 1000-year reign of Christ (Jesus) on earth. The Apostle Paul refers to this 1 Timothy 1:17.
Psalm 68 Speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his return. Psalm 68:1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. Acts 7:56 and the rest of passage speaks if His Kingly reign (during 1000 years).
Psalm 69 Speaks of Christ’s (Jesus) earthly ministry and his suffering and death. Psalm 69:21 They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink. Matthew 27:34,43.
Psalm 72 Speaks of Christ’s (Jesus) earthly kingdom (during the 1000-year reign).
Psalm 110:1 The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Hebrews 10:12
Psalm 149 Speaks of the Final Judgement (Great White Throne) Psalm 149:7-9 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the Lord. Revelation 20:11

The Gainsaying of Core (Korah)

Jude 1:1 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

GAINSAY – to deny, dispute or contradict

The story of Korah (Core) is found in Numbers 16:1-33 … And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown: And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD? …

⇒ He led a rebellion against Moses
⇒ He didn’t believe God
⇒ He rebelled against God
⇒ He provoked the Lord

Korah desired leadership. He wanted to be in charge, despite what God had said. He and his followers perished at the hand of the Lord. Numbers 16:32-33 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

Their punishment is repeated in Numbers 26:9-10 And the sons of Eliab; Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. This is that Dathan and Abiram, which were famous in the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against the LORD: And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died, what time the fire devoured two hundred and fifty men: and they became a sign.

Thus ended the gainsayings of Core (Korah).

The Way of Cain

PPT - Mistakes Of Cain PowerPoint Presentation, free download - ID ...

Jude 1:1 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Read Genesis 4 for the story of Cain.

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the LORD. And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD…

⇒ First human born (his parents were created).
⇒ A tiller of the ground (farmer).
⇒ Did things HIS way (disobedient).
⇒ Was Jealous of his brother, and angry.
⇒ A murderer (killed his younger brother).
⇒ Lied to God.

That sums up the way of Cain. He knew God. He talked with God. And he still disobeyed God.

Cain is spoken of 3 times in the New Testament.

Hebrews 11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaketh.
1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.
Jude 1:11 Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.

Trumpets

Prepare the Way – Forty Days of Seeking God for the Feast of ...

A study of TRUMPET in scripture reveals a lot of truth.

In the Old Testament after the Israelites left Egypt, the trumpet was used to communicate to them, to call them to Order, to Battle, for the Feasts. NUMBERS 10:4 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, …, shall gather themselves unto thee.
See EXODUS 19:13, 16, 19; 20:18, LEVITICUS 25:9, JOSHUA 6:5, 20;
JUDGES 3:27, 6:34, 7:16, 18

As seen in the verses above, the TRUMPET continued to lead them as the took over and lived in the promise land. All through Israel’s history 1 SAMUEL 13:3 …And Saul blew the trumpet throughout all the land, saying, Let the Hebrews hear. See 2 Samuel 2:28; 6:15; 15:10; 18:16; 20:1, 22; 1 Kings 1:34, 39, 41;
Nehemiah 4:20; Job 39:24-25; Psalm 47:5; 84:3; 98:6; 150:3; Isaiah 18:3; 27:13; 58:1; Jeremiah 4:5, 19, 21; 6:1, 17; 42:14; 51:27; Ezekiel 7:14; 33:3-6; Hosea 5:8; 8:1; Joel 2:1, 15; Amos 2:2; 3:6; Zephaniah 1:16; 9:14.

And as we study history even down to the present day military, the Trumpet is used to communicate.

Paul warns of the miss use of the trumpet 1 Corinthians 14:8 For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?
The Trumpet plays a great roll during the Tribulation, especially during the last 3 ½ years. Revelation 1:10, 4:1 8:2,6,3, 9:14, 18:2.

The Lord Jesus forewarned Israel about His coming, at the end of the great Tribulation.

Matthew 24:30-31 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

But there is a Trumpet all believers are listening to hear. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. So, as believers, the next TRUMPET we are waiting for is:

When He Comes | Jesus is coming, Trumpet, Dreams, visions

Temple

The Tabernacle in Its Ancient Near Eastern Context - TheTorah.com

From the time of Moses until 70 AD, except for about 70 years during Daniel’s time, Israel, the Jews, have had a Tabernacle, replaced by a Temple during Solomon’s time, where they could worship God and offer animal sacrifices according to the Law. In 70 AD, due to Israel’s rejection of Christ, God allowed the Romans to destroy the Temple and begin the disbursement of the Jews throughout the world as He said He would. The Jews have been without the ability to offer animal sacrifice, required by the Law, ever since. But God has promised He will gather all Israel back to the land He gave them and set up a Kingdom for them to rule the earth with their Messiah.

Herod's Temple, Jerusalem ARTchive @ PreteristArchive.com, The ...

In the Gospels and the book of Acts, the TEMPLE is mentioned 85 times.

As magnificent as the Temple was, The Lord Jesus told of it’s destruction.
Matthew 24:1-2, Mark 13:1-2, Luke 19:41-44, 21:6 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple. And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

The Lord Jesus told the Samarian woman, at the well, when the Temple would not be needed to worship God. John 4:1-24. vs 23-24 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

The Temple existed during Paul’s life, but he wanted believers to know they were the spiritual Temple. Paul writing to the Corinthian believers about the Temple but usually in reference to their bodies.
1 Corinthians 3:16-17 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy; for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.
(also see 6:19, 8:10, 9:13, 2 Corinthians 6:16)

Paul writes about the spiritual Temple in Ephesians 2:21-22 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
And the Temple he speaks about in 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Is the rebuilt Temple during the Tribulation.
Yes, the Temple will be rebuilt, either just before or right after the Rapture
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18), and the Jews will go back to Temple worship as it was during the Time of Paul.

The Temple is mentioned 13 times in Revelation.

It appears to be the TEMPLE that is in Heaven. Revelation 7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them. (also see 3:12; 11:1-2, 19; 14:15; 15:5-6, 8; 16:1,17).
But look at the last reference. Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
In the great city, the holy Jerusalem (read Revelation 21:10-27) there will be no need for a Temple.

Communion

God is the answer. Psalm 42, 43

The Lord celebrated His last supper with the apostles:
Matthew 26:26-29, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 22:15-20
The Lord, through the Apostle Paul, gave us this way to commune with him.
1 Corinthians 11:23-26
The Psalmist gives us solutions to our complex problems.
Our problems are:
⇒ Inter … originate within
⇒ Outer … caused by those around us or circumstances
The Psalmist begins by telling us that we do not seek after God.
Psalm 10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
Psalm 14:1-3 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good. The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Psalm 53:1-3 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that doeth good.God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God. Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.
Paul reminds us nothing has changed:
Romans 3:10-18 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one. Their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit; the poison of asps is under their lips: Whose mouth is full of cursing and bitterness: Their feet are swift to shed blood: Destruction and misery are in their ways: And the way of peace have they not known: There is no fear of God before their eyes.
All these indicate that no man seeks after God BUT He seeks us.
And Paul gives us instructions that he received from the Lord, a way to remember that the Lord will come again. (the reason to partake of Communion).
1 Corinthians 11:23-26 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, this cup is the new testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord’s death till he come.

Indwelling of the Holy Spirit

The Indwelling Presence of the Holy Spirit - Steve Evans - Medium
The Promise: (Given to Israel, Believers)

John 7:38-39 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
John 14:16-18 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.
John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.
John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
John 16:12-15 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

The Fulfillment: (to Jewish Believers)

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 4:8 Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,
Acts 6:5 And the saying pleased the whole multitude: and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Ghost, and Philip, and Prochorus, and Nicanor, and Timon, and Parmenas, and Nicolas a proselyte of Antioch:,
Acts 11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
Acts 13:9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Ghost, set his eyes on him.,
Acts 13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Ghost.

The Reminders: (to Jewish and Gentile Believers)

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
1 Corinthians 3:16 Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
Galatians 3:2 This only would I learn of you, Received ye the Spirit by the works of the law, or by the hearing of faith?
Galatians 4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
1 John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
1 John 4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

Remember to read these verses in context.
