Anti-Semitism

The hatred and/or persecution of the Jew. It has continued ever since the call of Abram/Abraham. It can be seen in a study of Scripture and world history. One of the latest was manifested in the 1930’s and early 1940’s in Germany. With this hatred of the Jew comes “The Curse of Anti-Semitism”.
This is found in,
Genesis 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
Satan, the Devil has always tried to get rid of the Jew, God’s chosen People.

The Lord Jesus reminded his Jewish followers:
Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
Matthew 24:9-10 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
Luke 21:17 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake.

Israel – Jerusalem – History Part 2

Abram, who later became Abraham, fathered Ishmael, (from whom Islam came) and Isaac, was called by God and taken to a land that one day would be his and his decedents thru Isaac.
Isaac fathered Esau and Jacob. Esau’s decedents became the Edomites. Jacob later called Israel (by God) fathered the Tribes of Israel.
Scholars believe the first human settlements in Jerusalem took place during the Early Bronze Age—somewhere around 3500 B.C. In 1000 B.C., King David conquered Jerusalem and made it the capital of the Jewish kingdom. His son, Solomon, built the first holy Temple about 40 years later.
In 722 BCE, the Assyrians, under Sargon II, successor to Shalmaneser V, conquered the Kingdom of Israel, and many Israelites were deported to Mesopotamia. The Jewish proper diaspora began with the Babylonian exile in the 6th century BCE.
The United Nations approved a plan to partition Palestine into a Jewish and Arab state in 1947, but the Arabs rejected it. In May 1948, Israel was officially declared an independent state with David Ben-Gurion, the head of the Jewish Agency, as the prime minister.

  • Israel has two official languages: Hebrew and Arabic
  • Israel is only 1/6 of 1% of the landmass of the Middle East (Israel is roughly half the size of Lake Michigan).
  • Golda Meir was the 3rd woman in history to serve as a country’s prime minister.
  • Israel’s population has reached 8 million as of Independence Day 2013!
  • Israel has won five bronze Olympic medals, one silver and one gold.
  • Developed by Major Uzi Gaf, more than 10 million Uzi machine guns have been build since 1948.
  • 34 political parties participated in Israel’s 2013 elections.
  • Israel has more museums per capita than any other country in the world.
  • The Dead Sea in Israel is the lowest point on earth, at 1,315 feet below sea level at its lowest point.
  • Israel is the only liberal democracy in the middle east.

Israel continues to have worldly problems; But, they are still God’s chosen people, just set aside, as a Nation, until the Body of Christ (Jew and Gentile) is complete. One day soon, Israel will enter the 7 years of Jacob’s Troubles (Jeremiah 30:7). Their Temple will be rebuilt. They will believe their Messiah has returned, (Daniel 9:27) But, 3 ½ years later they will realize HE is not who they are looking for. But, when Jacob’s week is complete and their Messiah has settled the Battle of Armageddon, He will set up their promised kingdom and they will rule with Him, in the new world for 1000 years.

Israel – New Testament Part 2

Even after the crucifixion and resurrection the People wanted their kingdom (Nation) restored. The book of Acts has many references:
Acts 1:6When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? see also:
Acts 2:22,36, 3:12, 4:8,10,27, 5:21,31,35, 7:23,37,42 9:15, 10:36, 13:16-17,
Acts 13:23-24, 21:28For this cause therefore have I called for you, to see you, and to speak with you: because that for the hope of Israel I am bound with this chain.
But again the People rejected the Christ Jesus as their messiah. So God through the Apostle Paul, opened the door of salvation to the Gentiles. But still tried to reach Israel (Jews) with the Gospel of GRACE.

The 10 Commandments Part 4

The 10 Commandments Part 4

Note that all the commandments are mentioned except KEEP THE SABBATH! So, what did Paul say?
Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: (only mention of Sabbath)

The Apostle Paul went on to teach what we (Believers) were and how we should live:
Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
1 Corinthians 5:10-11 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolator, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such an one no not to eat.
1 Corinthians 6:10 Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God., Ephesians 5:3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;
Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
1 Timothy 3:3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.,
2 Timothy 3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy

What about Tithing? Isn’t that a Commandment?
Hebrews 7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

Here’s what Paul Teaches about Giving: (he never mentions tithe)
2 Corinthians 9:7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

The 10 Commandments Part 3

So, what did Paul teach about the 10 commandments:
Colossians 2:16 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
Romans 2:22 Thou that sayest a man should not commit adultery, dost thou commit adultery? thou that abhorrest idols, dost thou commit sacrilege?
Romans 3:30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.
Romans 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
1 Corinthians 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.1 Corinthians 12:2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Ephesians 4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Ephesians 5:3-4 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.
Ephesians 6:1-2 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.
Honour thy father and mother; which is the first commandment with promise;

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:
Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 1:9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;
1 Thessalonians 4:3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

The 10 Commandments Part 2

Matthew 12:8 (Mark 2:28,Luke 6:5) For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.
Luke 6:9,14:3 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

(Idol worship among the Jews during Jesus walk on earth did not seem to be a problem)

Along with stressing the 10 Commandments the Lord summarized with,
⟶ The Great Commandment(s)
Matthew 22:36-40 (Mark 12:28-31) Master, which is the great commandment in the law? Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.
John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.

What did the apostles teach about the 10 Commandments?
James 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law
James 2:19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
1 Peter 1:15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
1 Peter 1:18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
1 John 5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Then Saul got saved (Acts 9) and became PAUL, the Apostle to the Gentiles. The Pharisees tried to force the LAW on these new Gentile converts.
Acts 15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was needful to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
Acts 15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, subverting your souls, saying, Ye must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:

Paul appeared before the council and after facing them (Acts 15, Galatians 2), they concluded:
Acts 15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
Acts 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.
Acts 21:25 As touching the Gentiles which believe, we have written and concluded that they observe no such thing, save only that they keep themselves from things offered to idols, and from blood, and from strangled, and from fornication.

Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. I rejoiced greatly that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
3 John 1:1 The elder unto the wellbeloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
3 John 1:3-4 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in thee, even as thou walkest in the truth. I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
3 John 1:8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellowhelpers to the truth.
3 John 1:12 Demetrius hath good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and ye know that our record is true.

Jews Set Aside

Can a Jew be saved?

The apostle Paul explains that the Israel Nation has been set aside because of their rejection of the Lord Jesus as their Messiah. He came unto his own, and his own received him not (John 1:11). So the Nation was set aside and the door to salvation was opened to Gentiles.

Isaiah 49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation unto the end of the earth.

The Apostle Paul comments on this in his letters to Rome and Galatians.

Romans 4:9 Cometh this blessedness then upon the circumcision only, or upon the uncircumcision also? for we say that faith was reckoned to Abraham for righteousness.

Romans 11:1-2 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel saying,

Romans 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Galatians 3:14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

But Jews as indiviuals still can be saved. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. (Romans 10:12)

All a Jew or Gentile (as an individual) has to do to be saved is found in
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 (Death, Burial and resurrection) and explained in Romans 10:9-13. (The Lord Jesus is God).

Thou Shalt Not Kill

A better translation: Thou shalt not MURDER.

The 6th Commandment
Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.
Deuteronomy 5:17 Thou shalt not kill.
The Lord Jesus repeated it:
Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said of them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:
The Apostle Paul repeated it:
Romans 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, Thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Just some facts: (note: does not include abortions).
In 2018, the estimated number of murders in the nation was 16,214.
In 2019, there were 16,425 reported cases of murder or non-negligent manslaughter in the United States.
In 2020 over 19,000 people killed in shootings and firearm-related incidents.
What will 2021 bring us with all the rioting?

This is the result of Removing the Bible and God from our schools.

PALESTINE

Is a Two-State Solution (Israel and Palestine) an Acceptable Solution to the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict? - Israeli-Palestinian - ProCon.org

Did you ever wonder why the Land of Israel is referred to as Palestine?
Exodus 15:14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.
Isaiah 14:29 Rejoice not thou, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that smote thee is broken: for out of the serpent’s root shall come forth a cockatrice, and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
Isaiah 14:31 Howl, O gate; cry, O city; thou, whole Palestina, art dissolved: for there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed times.
Joel 3:4 Yea, and what have ye to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine?

Land of the Philistines.
Psalm 60:8 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe: Philistia, triumph thou because of me.
Psalm 87:4 I will make mention of Rahab and Babylon to them that know me: behold Philistia, and Tyre, with Ethiopia; this man was born there.
Psalm 108:9 Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

The name Palestine is derived from the Philistines. The Biblical names for the land promised to Abraham and his descendants as their inheritance are Canaan and Israel. The name Palestine is found 4 times in the Bible in references to the coastal strip to the southeast of Israel that was occupied by the Philistines. It was roughly the same area known as the Gaza Strip today. The Romans referred to the southern part of Israel as Provincia Judea but this name was changed to Provincial Syria Palestine by the Emperor Hadrian in the early second century AD. Eventually the name Palestine came to be used by all of the land that was ever occupied by the Jewish people. It is no coincidence that the land promised to Abraham (Israel) by covenant is now know by the name of her most persistent and troublesome enemy. It is another part of Satan’s never-ending attack on God’s chosen people. It was David who finally subdued the Philistines and brought peace to ancient Israel. With an even greater victory, David’s greatest descendent, the Lord Jesus Christ will one day once again subdue Israel’s enemies.

“Palestine” does not occur in the New Testament.
