The Last Days

The Last days have different meanings
Jacob warns his sons:
Genesis 49:1 And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.
Durning the 1000 year reign of Christ on earth:
Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.
God says:
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
Paul warns about Tribulation (7 years)
2 Timothy 3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
A warning to believing Jews:
James 5:3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
2 Peter 3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
Are you prepared for the last days? You don’t have to be there.
The rapture come first!
1 Corinthians 51:51-52 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

Day of the Lord (2)

The phrase “The Day” appears 284 times in the Holy Scripture (KJV).
But just looking at the Day of The Lord.

Joel writing to the Israelites, mentions it 5 times. Joel 1:15, 2:1,11,31, 3:14
Amos writing to the Israelites, mentions it in Amos 5:18
Obadiah writing to the Israelites, mentions it in Obadiah 1:15
Zephaniah writing to the Israelites, mentions it 7 times.
Zephaniah 1:7,8,14,18, 2:2,3, 14:1
Peter, preaching to the Jews on the day of Pentecost, quotes Joel:
Acts 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
A study of these Scripture reveals Israel of a coming destruction which Peter gives a final warning:
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Now, look at the writings of the Apostle Paul, to believers:
1 Corinthians 1:8 Who shall also confirm you unto the end, that ye may be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.
1 Corinthians 5:5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus.
2 Corinthians 1:14 As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also are our’s in the day of the Lord Jesus.
Philippians 1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Philippians 2:16 Holding forth the word of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.
1 Thessalonians 5:2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
2 Thessalonians 2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

THE DAY OF THE LORD, for the believer is NOT one of destruction; but a day of rejoicing, the Day of Rapture.

Day of Judgement

The Lord Jesus waned Israel about a coming Judgment:
Matthew 10:15 Truly I tell you, it will be more bearable for Sodom and Gomorrah on the day of judgment than for that town.
Matthew 11:22 But I tell you, it will be more bearable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
Matthew 11:24 But I tell you that it will be more bearable for Sodom on the day of judgment than for you.”
Mark 6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
Matthew 12:36 But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
The Apostle Peter warned Israel of the coming day of judgment:
2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:
2 Peter 3:7 But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
The Apostle John also warns Israel of the day of judgment:
1 John 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
The Apostle Paul speaks to Believers:
Romans 1:32, 2:2-5, 5:16-18, 14:10 1 Corinthians 1:10, 4:3, 7:40
2 Corinthians 5:10 Galatians 5:10 Philippians 1:9 2 Thessalonian 1:5
1 Timothy 5:24

Mark of the Beast

What is it? Where does one see it? Is it inside or outside? Is it a tattoo? Is it an inserted chip? It will be required for everyone during the time of Jacob’s trouble, the 7-year Tribulation. Just what does the Scripture say? There are passages in Revelation that give insight to this Mark.
Revelation 13:11-12 defines who HE is in vs 16.
Notice the placing of the mark is
IN!!
Revelation 13:16-17 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
And again notice IN his forehead or in his hand.
Revelation 14:9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
More comments about the MARK.
Revelation 14:11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
Revelation 15:2 And I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire: and them that had gotten the victory over the beast, and over his image, and over his mark, and over the number of his name, stand on the sea of glass, having the harps of God.
Revelation 16:2 And the first went, and poured out his vial upon the earth; and there fell a noisome and grievous sore upon the men which had the mark of the beast, and upon them which worshipped his image.
Results of receiving the MARK:

Revelation 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
UPON or IN?
Revelation 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

So, the question remains, is the MARK a tattoo or a chip inserted under the skin? Whatever it is, it marks and dooms all those who deny the true God, The Lamb of God, The Lord Jesus Christ.

Believers in the Lord Jesus, death, burial and resurrection and that He is God, don’t have to worry about this. WE will be gone.

Will Children be Raptured?

THE REAL Question.
This is not to imply that Babies who die don’t go to Heaven.
2 Samuel 12:32 David’s Son
But will Children be taken in the Rapture?
The answer should be based on Scripture, not emotion.

Rightly dividing the Word
Matthew 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! (Mark 13:17, Luke 21:23)
Verses oft times quoted to prove Babies are Raptured. These verses are speaking of the middle of the Tribulation, not the Rapture.

No verses in Scripture either way.
Scripture sometimes leaves us with only principles not black and white fact.
i.e. Smoking, Movies, TV.

Some of the principles taught about children:
Genesis 6 The flood … Only Noah’s children spared.
Genesis 19 Sodom and Gomorrah … Only 2 of Lot’s Daughters
Numbers 16 Korah, Datham, Abiram withstood Moses -Read verse 27
Joshua 7 Achan sin … who paid for it -Read verse 24
Daniel 6 Who was thrown to the Lions when Daniel was removed?
Whether these children went to Heaven or not is pure speculation.

Do all Children go to Heaven?
It is taught that until a child reaches the age of accountability they do …
BUT this is not about when a child dies, it is about “will they be Raptured”.

The Tribulation lasts 7 years. see TRIBULATION
A child left behind has 7 years to become a believer and pass into the 1000 year kingdom.

Will Children be Raptured? Does it really matter?
The real question is will YOU be part of the Rapture when it occurs?

Psalm 41

The whole passage speaks of Christ (Jesus) and his earthly ministry. And this Psalm was fulfilled through Judas and his betrayal (John 13:18,17:12).

41 Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble. 2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies. 3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness. 4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee. 5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish? 6 And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it. 7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt. 8 An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more. 9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
Judas the betrayer
Mark 14:18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me.
Luke 22:21 But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.
Luke 22:48 But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?
John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.
ACTS 1:16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.
10 But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them. 11 By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me. 12 And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.
Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

Psalm 24

Speaks of the King of Glory…. Second Coming
24 The earth is the LORD’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
1 Corinthians 10:26 For the earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof.
2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?

ROMANS 10:6-7 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.)
4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.
7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

1 Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

1 Timothy 6:15 Which in his times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
Of course, this speaks of the Christ (Jesus) who will rule over Israel (and the world) for 1000 years as King of Kings, Lord of Lords. (
Revelation 19,20)

Psalm 23

This passage has been a comfort to many believers over the years, but will be fulfilled for the Jew during the 7 years of tribulation (yet to come).

23 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 20

This Psalm will be fulfilled during the 7 year Tribulation,
“Jacob’s Trouble” Jeremiah 30:7

The LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend thee;
2 Send thee help from the sanctuary, and strengthen thee out of Zion;
3 Remember all thy offerings, and accept thy burnt sacrifice; Selah.
4 Grant thee according to thine own heart, and fulfil all thy counsel.
5 We will rejoice in thy salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.
6 Now know I that the LORD saveth his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.
8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.
9 Save, LORD: let the king hear us when we call.

Psalm 15

A Psalm of David
Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Psalms 119:172 gives us a definition of what righteousness is:
All my commandments are righteousness.”
3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.
4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honoureth them that fear the LORD. He that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not.
5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

These are good and worthy things all people should abide by. And will be in vogue during the 7 year Tribulation.

But during the age of grace, Paul tells us who will enter into Heaven:
1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 10 9-13.
