As we know, NO-ONE is perfect (except the Lord Jesus) but just for a few moments, let’s consider what would be the perfect mother.
The perfect motherwould first of all be the good wife. 1 Peter 3 Peter gives the qualities of a Good wife and writes of Sarah, who called Abraham, lord. Ephesians 5:22-24 Paul gives instructions for wives. The perfect mother must be a good wife. The perfect mother would respect (love) her in-laws. Ruth the example. Ruth 1:15-17 The perfect mothershould desire to have and love children (how many mothers are only biological moms). Rachel desired to be a mother Genesis 30:1 She pleaded “give me children or else I die”. Genesis 30:22 And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb. The perfect mother would give her children to God and pray for them. 1 Samuel 1:27-28 For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the LORD; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the LORD. And he worshipped the LORD there. The perfect motherwould teach her child about God. Give them something, someone to believe in.Paul was impressed with Lois and Eunice who gave their child faith. 2 Timothy 1:5When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also. The perfect motherwould desire the best for her child. The mother of James and John Matthew 20:20-21. She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom. The perfect mother would believe God. Luke 1:27-38 Mary, the mother of our Lord, she believed the impossible, she believed God. How about it Mom? Are YOUThe Perfect Mother? Are you ….. A good wife? Do you ….. desire children, really want them? Have you ….. given the ones you have to God? Do you ….. pray for, with them? Are you ….. teaching them God’s word? Are you ….. giving them a real faith … someone, something to believe in. Do you ….. desire the best for them? Are you ….. going to God for them? MOM ….. do you believe in God? The death Burial and Resurrection of Christ?

In physics, colour is associated specifically with electromagnetic radiation of a certain range of wavelengths visible to the human eye. Radiation of such wavelengths constitutes that portion of the electromagnetic spectrum known as the visible spectrum—i.e., light.
The Scripture comments on colours many times. The word Colour(s) appears in the Scripture 24 times. There are many things to learn as one looks at Colours in Scripture. Coat of many colours given to Joseph: Genesis 37:3,23,32, Other references: Leviticus 13:55, Numbers 11:7, Judges 5:30, 2 Samuel 13{18-19, 1 Chronicles 29:2, Proverbs 23:31, Isaiah 54:11, Ezekiel 1:4,7,16,22,27, 8:2, 10:9, 16:16, 17:3, Daniel 10:6, Acts 27:30, Revelation 17:3-4 Imagine, what would life be like without color? When was the last time you watched a movie or TV show in Black and White?

Read Genesis 11:1-9. The Hebrew word translated “tower” could represent any large monolith, obelisk or pyramid. As we read in Genesis, from the Flood until then, many years have passed, the people had multiplied so much that they were afraid they would scatter over the earth: Vs 4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth. Which is what God had instructed them to do (Genesis 9:1 And God blessed Noah and his sons, and said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth).
Vs 9Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
The Lord caused them to speak in different languages, forcing them to separate into groups and flee to other parts of the earth. Did He also change physical features, color of skin, slanting of eyes, etc.?
Pyramids are found in Egypt, they exist today. Many have visited them. Are these copies of the original Tower of Babel? Attempts to worship false gods?
Remember 11:9 … scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
Archeologists are finding Pyramids in many other parts of the world: Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru just to name a few. And these are documented on a TV program: EXPEDITION UNKNOWN, hosted by Archeologist Josh Gates.
As God spread the people across the earth, it appears they took their false gods with them and constructed Pyramids (Towers) to continue their false worship. Meanwhile God focused on One Man, Abram, Genesis 12, and one nation (to be) Israel.

Romans 10:9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Why is this man different than all the millions of men who have ever lived? Why is His name used in the praise or cursing that fall from the lips of men? It is written that He was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He died a martyrs death. Why? Because of His ideals? Because He wanted to change the establishment? Because He wanted to establish a new religion? NO, these are not the reasons. They don’t satisfy answers to the further probing questions they stir up. His life and death were not accidents, not mere chances of fate. THE SCRIPTURE DECLARES: Galatians 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, God sent forth His Son for a reason. The reason: to die for your sin and mine. Listen to the words of Christ concerning His Death: John 10:17-18Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. The Scripture further states: Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. YES, Christ died for our sins according to the Scripture: 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 …how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: WHY? The answer lies in the Scripture: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Galatians 3:22But the scripture hath concluded all under sin… Romans 6:23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
THOUGHT: God is satisfied with the Cross as settling the sin problem … We should be satisfied with what satisfies God…
Easter Sunday, most of what we do on this day is based on man’s traditions, not the Word of God.
We should remember that it is NOT Easter, but Resurrection Sunday! Many profess to believe that the Lord Jesus rose again. But just what do they believe? Some Questions: 1 How did the Lord Jesus rise from the dead? 2 What type of body did He rise with? 3 Where did the body go, and where is it now? 4 Just what did the resurrection prove?
1 He rose from the dead by the power of God. Our proof in in Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power. We have the testimony of many who not only saw the empty tomb, but saw Him, and touched Him. To accept the scripture as the word of God … is to accept the fact that Jesus did arise.
2 His body had to be physical. The scripture says: Luke 24:30And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them. Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Luke 24:42-43 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb. And he took it, and did eat before them. Paul points out the difference between the natural body and the spiritual body. 1 Corinthians 15:39-44. The natural (Flesh ad blood) cannot inherit the kingdom, the spiritual (flesh and bone) can! 1 Corinthians 15:50
3 The body of the Lord Jesus ascended into Heaven Acts 1:9-11 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. And this same body is coming again to earth. He is currently seated at the right hand of God. Over 13 times the Scripture states that God exists and so does His Christ. This same Jesus bodily, will come again: Zechariah 12:10, 13:6, Revelation 1:7. Remember the Angels said “This same Jesus…”
4 What does the resurrection prove? It proves the power of God Ephesians 1:19-20. It proves that Jesus is the Saviour Acts 10:38-43. It proves the righteousness of God: Sin cannot go to Heaven – Romans 3:23 The debt must be paid but sinners cannot pay it. A sinless one must pay the price Romans 3:21-22, 4:22-24 It proves the resurrection of all men 1 Corinthians 15:20-22 Christ the first fruit. All die because of Adam. All will be resurrected because of Christ. The first was Christ Matthew 28:1-10 Then those who rose with Him Matthew 27:58 Then those who will go in the rapture 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 Then those who rise at His second coming Revelation 20:4-6 Then all after His 1000 year Reign Revelation 20:11-15 All who have ever lived will have an eternal body Philippians 3:21Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Some to Honor and Glory to live with Him forever. Some to dishonor and horror, separated from Him forever. Which will you be?
Palm Sunday, or the Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem as it may be called in Orthodox Churches, is one of the Twelve Great Feasts of the liturgical year. The day before Palm Sunday, Lazarus Saturday, believers often prepare palm fronds by knotting them into crosses in preparation for the procession on Sunday.
The Orthodox Church celebrates Lazarus Saturday and claim it is the day before Palm Sunday. Lazarus Saturday, celebrates the raising of Lazarus from the dead by the Lord Jesus. BUT, John 12:1 “Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.” says it happened before that.
Matthew, Mark, Luke do not comment on Lazarus nor Palm Sunday.
John 11:1-57 records the raising Lazarus from the dead. John 12:1-18 records what we call Palm Sunday.
Because all of Jerusalem had heard of the raising of Lazarus, and because of the Lord’s 3 years of proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom, His teachings, healings, casting out demons and His other miracles, they wanted to proclaim Him king. John 12:13Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. John 12:17-18The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record. For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle. But not the Jewish leaders, they plotted to kill Him. John 12:10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;
Whether one celebrates these days is of little matter. They have NOTHING to do with salvation. Read 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 and Romans 10:9-13.
THE RESURRECTION 1 Corinthians 15:12-19 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain. Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not. For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. Resurrection of Christ is a FACT: Paul writes 1 Corinthians 15:1-8 There were those in Corinth who denied the possibility of resurrection of dead men. Just as today many deny the possibility of a physical resurrection. Even misquoting scripture: Ecclesiastes 8:10, 9:4,5

Because Christ rose from the dead in a new body, so also will we rise from the dead with new bodies. 1 Corinthians 15:51-58
