Jesus said (John 14:1-6) Apostle Paul wrote (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
Jesus:Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. John 14:1 Paul:But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 Jesus: In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. John 14:2 Paul:For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 Jesus:And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. John 14:3 Paul: For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. 1 Thessalonians 4:15 Jesus:And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. John 14:4 Paul:For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: 1 Thessalonians 4:16 Jesus:Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? John 14:5 Paul:Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. 1 Thessalonians 4:17 Jesus: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6 Paul:Wherefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:18
The Lord Jesus was speaking to Jewish followers (Apostles) and promising them that He would take care of them. Apostle Paul was speaking to Gentile (Believers) and how all would be taken to Heaven to be with Him.
A search of the Scripture will not produce the word RAPTURE. It is not in the KJV or many other translations. It is in the Latin Vulgate as RAPIEMUR.It means “caught up together”.Now that phrase is in the Scripture.
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. There are three teachings about when this event takes place and IT WILL TAKE PLACE. The PreTrib, the MidTrib, and the PostTrib. A study of the scripture points to a PreTrib Rapture. Since the Apostle is the only one who reveled this mystery, its to his writings that we will search. But some will say “What about? Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21 (words of Jesus)” A careful study of these passages will see that the Lord Jesus was teaching about the seven-year Tribulation that unbelieving Jews and the rest of the world will have to pass through before He returns bodily to set up His Kingdom on Earth to rule and reign from Jerusalem. As we study the writings of the Apostle Paul we find mysteries he was given, by the Lord, to reveal to Believers. These mysteries are for us to know: 1 Corinthians 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the … Ephesians 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, … Romans 11:25 For I would not, …, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, … Romans 16:25 Now …, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, 1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, … Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to … Ephesians 3:3-4 How that by revelation he made known unto me the mystery; (…) Ephesians 5:32 This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and … Ephesians 6:19 And for me, …, to make known the mystery of the gospel, Colossians 1:26-27 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and … Colossians 2:2 That their hearts might be comforted, … understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ; Colossians 4:3 Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: 2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he … 1 Timothy 3:9 Holding the mysteryof the faith in a pure conscience. 1 Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mysteryof godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. We shall escape the wrath (Tribulation) to come: Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all …. Romans 5:9 … justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.| 1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain … 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.” 1 Thessalonians 4:17
Revelation 22:20 He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
“And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 4:7)
For generations, most of the world’s people have longed for peace, but the world continues to be at war. Evolutionists attribute this to ages of violent evolutionary struggle; the Bible attributes it to sin!
But it is wonderfully possible to have real personal peace even in a world at war. This is what the Bible calls “the peace of God,” and it surpasses all human understanding because it is provided by the God of peace, for the writer continues, “The God of peace shall be with you” (v. 9).
The God of peace! There are some wonderful promises associated with this beautiful name of our Lord. For example: “The God of peace shall bruise Satan under your feet shortly” (Romans 16:20). Also: “The very God of peace sanctify you wholly” (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
The provision of God’s perfect peace (Isaiah 26:3) is specifically invoked in 2 Thessalonians 3:16: “Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means.” Perhaps the greatest promise of all is implied in the concluding prayer of the book of Hebrews: “Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ” (Hebrews 13:20-21).
There is only one other reference to the peace of God: “And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful” (Colossians 3:15). The peace of God, from the God of peace, can rule in our hearts if we let it rule in our hearts. Then, as promised in our text, it will also keep our hearts!
Peace of, with, from God Mankind, from the beginning has wanted peace and has used war to accomplish attaining it. And of course, peace has eluded them. And the apostle has written: 1 Thessalonians 5:3For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
This, of course is written to be full filled during the Tribulation. But during the age of grace, individules who believe the Gospel; I Corinthians 15:1-4 and obey the admission of Romans 10:9-13, that individual can experience the PEACE OF, FROM, WITH GOD
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. John 3:16-18For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. John 12:28Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. Matthew 17:5While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him. 1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
OMNISCIENT – All Knowing Matthew 9:4And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? John 2:24-25 But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men, And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.
OMNIPOTENT – All Power John 1:12But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Philippians 3:20-21For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself. Colossians 1:17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Hebrews 1:8-10But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:
OMNIPRESENT – Everywhere Matthew 18:20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 28:20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Part of the God Head – Trinity John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1:14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. 2 Corinthians 5:19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. Colossians 2:8-9 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 1 Timothy 3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
One with the Father (He is the Father Isaiah 9:6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.)
John 10:30 I and my Father are one. John 10:38But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know, and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in him. John 12:45And he that seeth me seeth him that sent me. John 14:7If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
Equal to God John 5:17 But Jesus answered them, My Father worketh hitherto, and I work. John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him. John 16:15All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. Philippians 2:6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 1 Thessalonians 3:11Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17Now our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God, even our Father, which hath loved us, and hath given us everlasting consolation and good hope through grace, Comfort your hearts, and stablish you in every good word and work.
Creator, Supporter, Preserver John 1:3, All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. Colossians 1:16-17, For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist. Hebrews 1:1-3God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
LORD of All Acts 10:36,The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:) Romans 10:11-13 For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Jehovah God speaking Isaiah 43:3For I am the Lord thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt for thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee. Isaiah 43:7Even every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him. Isaiah 43:10-11Ye are my witnesses, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me. Isaiah 44:6Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. Isaiah 48:12Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
Jesus Christ speaking Revelation 1:8I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty. Revelation 1:11Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea. Revelation 1:17-18And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death. Revelation 22:13I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Revelation 22:18-19For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.
Hebrews 1:7-11And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; John 20:28And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. John 20:31But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, ThePrince of Peace. John 1:1-3,14In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. Titus 2:13Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; 1 Timothy 3:16And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. 1 John 5:20And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
He created all Colossians 1:14-17In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, ordominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Ephesians 3:9And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ: Romans 1:20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: Revelation 4:11Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
He makes believers new
creations
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. Ephesians 2:10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him: James 1:18Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of first fruits of his creatures.
It’s Interesting to note that the Gospel writers only mention Creation 3 times in Mark:
10:6But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female. 13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. 16:15And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
Isaiah 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. Matthew 19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel. Romans 14:10-11 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. Philippians 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Reading the scripture listed above leaves no doubt that ALL will have to give an account of how we lived our lives. And no one will have any excuse. Ignorance will not be an excuse. Acts 3:17 And now, brethren, I wot that through ignorance ye did it, as did also your rulers. Acts 4:13Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. Acts 17:23 For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, TO THE UNKNOWN GOD. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men everywhere to repent: Romans 1:13 Now I would not have you ignorant, brethren, that oftentimes I purposed to come unto you, (but was let hitherto,) that I might have some fruit among you also, even as among other Gentiles. Romans 10:3 For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 1 Corinthians 10:1 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all passed through the sea; 1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 1 Corinthians 14:38 But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant. 2 Corinthians 2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. Ephesians 4:18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. 1 Peter 2:15 For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: 2 Peter 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 2 Peter 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
As can be seen reviewing the above scriptures ignorance will not be an excuse!

IF David is 40 when Solomon is born, and Solomon reigns 40 yrs (I Kings 11:42), then Solomon was 70 years old when he died.
Solomon started the Temple in 4th year (II Chronicles 3:2) of his reign: 7 years to build Temple I Kings 6:37 13 years to build his Palace I Kings 6:38 20 years to build both I Kings 7:1
At age 30 – Solomon takes reign over Israel At age 34 – Starts building Temple (II Chronicles 3:2) At age 41 – Temple complete At age 54 – Palace complete At age 70 – Solomon Dies
Revelation 20:11And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
The final Judgement of SIN (rebellion against God). It comes at the end of the 1000-year reign of Christ Jesus on earth. Read Revelation 20-21.
Old testament Saints (Those who believed in God by Faith) will not be there as they went to heaven with Christ at his resurrection (Ephesians 4:8-10 Wherefore he saith, when he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)).
Believers who have died since the resurrection are also in Heaven (2Corinthians 5:8We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.) and won’t be there. And we who are alive when the rapture occurs (1 Thessalonians 4:13-18But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord Wherefore comfort one another with these words.) also won’t be Judged at the Great White Throne.
Then who will be judged at the Great White Thone? According to Revelation 20, all the unbelievers, unsaved, all those who have rebelled since Satan fell from heaven (Isaiah 14:12-15 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.).
The Devil (having been freed from the bottomless pit (Revelation 20:3,7 3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,) will be cast alive into the LAKE OF FIRE where the beast and false prophet are. (Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.)
All unbelievers (alive and those in Hell (who will be brought up) Revelation 20:12-13 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.) will be brought before the Great White Throne and Judged – GUILTY. They along with DEATH and HELL will be cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. (Revelation 20:14-15 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.)
Again, NO BELIEVER (those who expressed faith in God through
Christ Jesus) will not be Judged at the Great White Throne.
Believers judgment was at the Judgement (Bema) seat of
Christ:
2 Corinthians 5:10For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Romans 14:11-12For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
I Corinthians 3:11-15For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble; Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is. If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive a reward. If any man’s work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.
Believers never need fear the Great White Throne Judgement.
If Believers are at the Great White Throne it
will be “To execute vengeance upon
the heathen, and punishments upon the people;”.
As stated in the above references it says “all appear before the judgement seat of Christ” and “every knee shall bow… every on shall give an account”. Now let’s examine these verses a little closer. 2 Corinthians 5:10 begins with “For we must all”, who is the we? It would appear to include the writer, the apostle Paul. And it does! Paul is writing to Believers and includes himself. So this verse in talking about the “BEMA Seat” the judgement seat of Christ where all believer’s will give an account of the life they lived AFTER they believed. Now read 1 Corinthians 3, especially vs 11-15. This gives an account of the judgement seat of Christ. The Apostle Paul writes to the churches explaining how believers will be judged: Galatians 6:7Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Ephesians 6:8Knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive of the Lord, whether he be bond or free. Colossians 3:24-25Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ. But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons. But Romans 14:11-12 says … ! This is a quote from the old Testament and refers to those (from Adam through the Millilumen) appearing before the Great White Throne (Revelation 20:11). Even the Lord Jesus warned of this in Matthew 12:36-37But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned. Now, since the believers were judged by Christ before the Millilumen, we will not be Judged here. When an individual believes the Gospel, the death, burialand resurrection of Christ Jesus(1 Corinthians 15:1-4), confessing that He is God (Romans 10:9-13) he is saved and all sins, past, present and future are under His blood, forgiven. And our works (since believing) will be judged (Romans 10:14) and we will receive reward for those deemed valuable by Christ. (1 Corinthians 3:11-15)
To collude, the judgement seat of Christ and the Great White Throne are two different judgments occurring at least 1000 years apart. See posts on Great White Throne. 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: Romans 10:9-13 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
In the Bible, an agreement between God and his people, in which God makes promises to his people and, usually, requires certain conduct from them. Edenic (Genesis 2:15-17) the only covenant that ended, when Adam sinned, it died. Adamic (Genesis 3:14-19) went into effect when Adam was expelled from the Garden and will last until the start of the Millennium. Noahic (Genesis 6:18,9:9-17) a Covenant never to flood the earth again, with no end. Following Covenants are made to the Jew, Israel: Abrahamic (Genesis 12:1-3; 15:18; 17:2-21, Exodus 2:24; 6:4-5; 19:5) a Covenant with All descendants of Abraham with no end. EVERLASTING (14 times in Old Testament and once in Hebrews 13:20) See Below: The Jew, Israel, was warned through out the Old testament to keep God’s covenant even into the Gospels and Acts. Luke 1:72To perform the mercy …, and to remember his holycovenant; Acts 3:25, 7:8And he gave him the covenantof circumcision: and so Abraham begat Isaac, and circumcised him the eighth day; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat the twelve patriarchs. The Apostle Paul, writing to the Hebrews (Jews) before the destruction of the Temple, reminded them of the Covenant and a better covenant. Hebrews 8:6-10But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a bettercovenant, which was established upon better promises. For if that firstcovenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a newcovenantwith the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. For this is thecovenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: … Hebrews 8:13, 9:1,4, 10:16,29, 12:24, 13:20 In Paul’s letters to the churches, he wrote of the Old Covenants given to Israel, The JEW, and how they did not honor them. Romans 1:31, 9:4, 11:27For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.Galatians 3:15,17 4:24Ephesians 2:12That at that time ye were without Christ, …, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God … God’s covenants with man have been kept by HIM. Man has failed. But God will keep HIS covenants forever. THE EVERLASTING COVENANT
