ARK — Boat

It’s interesting, the word Boat only appears 5 times.
Once in the Old Testament:
2 Samuel 19:16-18 And Shimei the son of Gera, a Benjamite, which was of Bahurim, hasted and came down with the men of Judah to meet king David. And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him, and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul, and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him; and they went over Jordan before the king. And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king’s household, and to do what he thought good. And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king, as he was come over Jordan;
And five times in the New Testament. Twice in John:
John 6:22 The day following, when the people which stood on the other side of the sea saw that there was none other boat there, save that one whereinto his disciples were entered, and that Jesus went not with his disciples into the boat, but that his disciples were gone away alone;
And three times in Acts 27. Luke records their travel by Ship and when it wrecked: *(note: the boat is a lifeboat on the ship).
Acts 27:16 And running under a certain island which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
Acts 27:30 And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under colour as though they would have cast anchors out of the foreship,
Acts 27:32 Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
Noah’s Ark is never referred to in the Bible as a boat.
