As our example, what did He do? You might say “He wasn’t tempted as I am”.
Hebrews 2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
Christ our Example met His Temptations with Scripture:
Matthew 4:4 It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Deuteronomy 8:3
Matthew 4:7 It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. Deuteronomy 6:16
Matthew 4:10 Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. Deuteronomy 10:20

When the Devil knocks:
Ephesians 6:11-14 STAND
Matthew 4:1-11 Use God’s Word
James 4:7 Submit to God, Resist the devil
Identify whose knocking … The Flesh, The World, The Devil!
And then do one of these:
Don’t listen to it Philippians 1:27, 2 Timothy 2:19
Ignore it 2 Thessalonians 2:15
Run from it 1 Corinthians 6:18, 1 Timothy 6:11, 2 Timothy 2:22
Stand Boldly Galatians 5:1, Ephesians 6:13-14
