And to Ephesus he wrote “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:” (2:8).
He writes to the Philippians that “they are partakers of my Grace”.
He advises the Colossians to “Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt”.
He writes of Grace to Thessalonians and to Timothy.
To Titus he writes ”For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men” and “That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”
Even in a very personal letter to Philemon he speaks of God’s Grace.
Among other things he tells the believing Hebrews “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to ….”.
Yes, the Apostle Paul Has much to say and teach us about the Grace of God.
James, half brother of the Lord Jesus writes “ But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
Peter also writes “… for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” And admonishes “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord ….”
Jude, another half brother of the Lord Jesus warns “ For there are certain men crept in unawares, …, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.”.
John writes to the seven Jewish Churches “ Grace be unto you, and peace,…”. And closes with the salutation “The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all...”.
Mercy (compassion or forgiveness) can be shown toward an individual and the individual can still be punished or harmed with no eternal salvation.
Grace (free and unmerited favor) on the other hand is complete forgiveness and will give eternal life IF you believe it.
