James, Peter, John, and Jude were considered unlearned and ignorant
(Acts 4:13). They were never the less used by God (Holy Spirit) to preach, Quoting the Old Testament Scripture (Acts 1,2,3) and to write epistles to the Jewish Assemblies, again quoting O.T. scriptures and alluding to its teachings. Also relying on many teachings of the Lord (from the NT) as they walked with Him over 3 years.
