Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
Many have said that nowhere in the Bible does the Lord Jesus ever say that he is God.
Well reread the above verse, especially the words:
āHow often would I have gathered thy children togetherā.
Only God could make that statement. Ever since Israel became a nation, when the Hebrew children came out of Egypt, God has tried to gather them together, to be their God. But they have always rejected him. There are many other verses that prove Jesus is God, and here HE proclaims it.
