Forty Days After the Resurrection

40 days after the resurrection! What do we know about the 40 days after the resurrection? What did the Lord Jesus do for those 40 days?
Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:

Blending together, Matthew 28, Mark 16, Luke 24 and John 20-21 we get a picture of the Events on that first day.
It was on the first day, very early in the morning.
Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:2, Luke 24:1, John 20:1
Some women came to the grave to anoint the body of the Lord.
Matthew 28:1, Mark 16:1, Luke 24:1
There was an earthquake and an Angel rolled the stone away and sat on it
Matthew 28:2
They found the stone rolled away Mark 16:4 Luke 24:2, John 20:1
They entered into the tomb Mark 16:5, Luke 24:3
They entered in discovering no body Luke 24:3
They saw a man/men Mark 16:5, Luke 24:4
They were afraid as the men spoke Matthew 28:5, Mark 16:6, Luke 24:5
They left the tomb Matthew 28:5, Mark 16:8, Luke 24:9
As they left the Tomb, Jesus appeared to them Matthew 28:9-10,
They reported what they experienced Matthew 28:5, Luke 24:9
They told no one what they experienced Mark 16:8,
The women are identified Mark 16:1, Luke 24:10
They were not believed Luke 24:11
Peter and John ran to the tomb Luke 24:12, John 20:3-10
Mary Magdalene stood without the tomb John 20:11
She spoke with two angels John 20:12-13
The Lord Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene Mark 16:9
She spoke with the Lord Jesus, not knowing who he was John 20:14-17
She went and told them Mark 16:10-11, John 20:2
Two disciples walking to Emmaus from Jerusalem Mark 16:42, Luke 24:11
Jesus joined them while they walked Luke 24:14
They did not recognize him Luke 24:16
One of them is identified as Cleopas Luke 24:18
They reported to him the events of the day Luke 24:19-24
Jesus then expounded to then the Scripture Luke 24:25-27
They constrained him to stay at their house Luke 24:28-29
He dined with them Luke 24:30
They then recognized him and he vanished out of their sight Luke 24:31
Excited by seeing the risen Lord, they returned to Jerusalem Luke 24:33
They related what happened to the Eleven Mark 16:13, Luke 24:34-35
As they did Jesus appeared in the midst of them
Mark 16:14, Luke 24:36, John 20:19
Thomas was not there John 20:24
They were terrified, affrighted Luke 24:37
He spoke to them showing his wounds Luke 24:38-40, John 20:19
He asked for food and ate before them Luke 24:41-43
He shared the scripture with them Mark 16:15-18, Luke 24:44-49
Thomas did not believe John 20:25
He led them to Bethany, blessed them Luke 24:50-51
He was carried up into heaven Mark 16:19, Luke 24:50-51
Thus ended the first day.
