Enoch’s

The Story of Enoch’s are recorded in Genesis 4-5
There are 2 Enochs mentioned in Scripture:
1st is the 7th son of Adam and Eve. Adam named a city after him.

Genesis 4:17-18 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he builded a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch. And unto Enoch was born Irad: and Irad begat Mehujael: and Mehujael begat Methusael: and Methusael begat Lamech.
Jude says Enoch (Adam’s 7th son) was a prophet:
Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,
Enoch prophesied the second coming of Christ, at the end of the Tribulation.

2nd Enoch is the son of Jared
Another Enoch is born years later to Jared.
Genesis 5:18-19 And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he begat Enoch: And Jared lived after he begat Enoch eight hundred years, and begat sons and daughters:
Enoch begot Methuselah.
Genesis 5:21-23 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters: And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:
A picture of the Rapture.
Genesis 5:24 And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.
Luke and Paul Mentions him:
Luke lists the 2nd Enoch in the Genealogy of Christ.
Luke 3:37 Which was the son of Mathusala, which was the son of Enoch, which was the son of Jared, which was the son of Maleleel, which was the son of Cainan,
Paul reminds Jews of Enoch’s removal (before the flood).
Hebrews 11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.
