The Apostle John, from the Isle of Patmos, is given a Revelation from the Lord Jesus Christ. He writes to the Seven Churches (assemblies) scattered through Asia, an to all believers. Although there are no direct quotes, the epistle contains warnings of apostasy in the assemblies but also of future events of the end of times beginning with the rapture (Chapter 4) thru the 7 years Tribulation and on to the Great White throne and the New Heavens and Earth.

Revelation Quotes

John the beloved Apostle wrote “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” while exiled on the isle of Patmos. He also wrote “THE GOSPEL OF ST JOHN” (the fourth Gospel in the New Testament). Revelation was written “to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass” and to “Write the things which thou hast seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;”. Although there aren’t any direct quotes the Book of Revelation interprets Daniels prophecies, Jeremiah’s prophecies and Ezekiel’s prophecies including Isaiah, and Joel among other writings.
