Last Days

Isaiah 2:2 During the Millennium
In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s Temple will be the highest of all mountains. It will be raised higher than the hills. There will be a steady stream of people from all nations going there.
Hosea 3:5 During the Millennium
After this, the people of Israel will come back and look for the LORD their God and for David their king. In the last days they will come to honor the LORD and his goodness.
Micah 4:1 During the Millennium
[ The Law Will Come From Jerusalem ] In the last days the mountain of the LORD’s Temple will be on the highest of all mountains. It will be raised higher than the hills. There will be a steady stream of people going there.

Acts 2:17 God says: In the last days I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions. Your old men will have special dreams.
2 Timothy 3:1 [ Many People Will Stop Loving God ] Remember this: There are some terrible times coming in the last days.
Hebrews 1:2 And now in these last days, God has spoken to us again through his Son. He made the whole world through his Son. And he has chosen his Son to have all things.
James 5:3 Your gold and silver will rust, and that rust will be a proof that you were wrong. That rust will eat your bodies like fire. You saved your treasure in the last days.
2 Peter 3:3 It is important for you to understand what will happen in the last days. People will laugh at you. They will live following the evil they want to do.
Daniel 8:19 He said, “Now, I will explain the vision to you. I will tell you what will happen in the future. Your vision was about the end times.
Daniel 8:17 So Gabriel, the angel who looked like a man, came to me. I was very afraid and fell down to the ground. But Gabriel said to me, “Human, understand that this vision is about the time of the end.”
Daniel 11:35 Some of the wise people will stumble and make mistakes. But the persecution must come so that they can be made stronger and purer until the time of the end. Then, at the right time, that time of the end will come.
Daniel 11:40 At the time of the end, the southern king will fight a battle against the northern king. The northern king will attack him with chariots and soldiers on horses and many large ships. The northern king will rush through the land like a flood.
Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, keep this message a secret. You must close the book and keep this secret until the time of the end. Many people will go here and there looking for true knowledge, and the true knowledge will increase.
Daniel 12:9 He answered, Go on about your life Daniel. The message is hidden. It will be a secret until the time of the end.
Joel 2:1 [ The Coming Day of the Lord ] Blow the trumpet on Zion. Shout a warning on my holy mountain. Let all the people who live in the land shake with fear. The LORD’s special day is coming; it is near.
Joel 2:31 The sun will be changed into darkness, and the moon will be as red as blood. Then the great and fearful day of the LORD will come!
Amos 5:18 Some of you want to see the LORD’s special day of judgment. Why do you want to see that day of the LORD? His special day will bring darkness, not light.
Obadiah 1:15 The Day of the LORD is coming soon to all the nations. And the evil you did to others will happen to you. The same bad things will fall down on your own head.
Acts 2:20 The sun will be changed into darkness, and the moon will be as red as blood. Then the great and glorious day of the Lord will come.

2 Thessalonians 2:2-3 Don’t let yourselves be easily upset or worried if you hear that the day of the Lord has already come. Someone might say that this idea came from us—in something the Spirit told us, or in something we said, or in a letter we wrote. Don’t be fooled by anything they might say. That day of the Lord will not come until the turning away from God happens. And that day will not come until the Man of Evil appears, the one who belongs to hell.

Revelation 1:10 On the Lord’s Day, the Spirit took control of me. I heard a loud voice behind me that sounded like a trumpet.

Wrath of God

We are told that GOD is a God of Love. That He wouldn’t punish anyone, BUT what saith the scripture? We won’t look into the Old Testament Scripture. But it is full of God’s wrath for not having faith in him. So just looking at the New Testament:

Here’s some of what Jesus said:

Matthew 3:7 (Luke 3:7) But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come?
Luke 21:23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people.
John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

And Paul Warned:

Romans 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Romans 2:5 But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God;
Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Romans 9:22 What if God, willing to shew his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
2 Corinthians 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; …
Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.
Colossians 3:6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh …
1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.
1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,
Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

The Apostle John forewarned what is coming (after the rapture):

Revelation 6:16-17 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

Revelation 15:7 And one of the four beasts gave unto the seven angels seven golden vials full of the wrath of God, who liveth for ever and ever.
Revelation 16:1 And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
Revelation 16:19 And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath.
Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

The Year That Was

Around New Years day, all the media will be reviewing the past year. WHAT WAS THE TOP TEN STORIES last year? NATIONALLY? LOCALLY?

What were the top ten stories in your life? A new Car? Home? Boat, Motorcycle? Ski Doo? A new Job? A new Baby? A Big Vacation? A close call with death? A major operation? An Accident? Death of a Loved one? A falling out with family? Friend?

Think about it for a minute. Then list the top ten events in your life. Now ask yourself three questions.

⬤ Was God involved in these event?
⬤ Was God honored in these events?
⬤ Was God glorified in these event?

God involved?
Romans 14:8 For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s.
2 Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

God Honored?
Romans 6:12-13 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof. Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

God Glorified?
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

Yes, the Lord God, Christ Jesus, died for your sins and offered salvation to all who will accept it. (Romans 10:9-13). And then He wants to be involved in your life, Honored by your life, Glorified by your life. Will/Do you let Him?
PAST………PRESENT……….FUTURE…….. represents our life

PAST…. Is History, can’t be changed, only put under the blood and forgiven!

PRESENT….NOW! Today, the time to Involve God in your life. Honor God in your activities. Glorify God in all that you do.

FUTURE….The hope of things to come. When it becomes Past, how will the top ten events in your life be represented?

144,000 Called of God

Just who are they? Many groups have claimed that THEY are part of the 144,000. But what saith the Scripture? The only place that they are mentioned is in the book of REVELATION. So, starting with 1st mention of the 144,000 in Revelation 7:4. Let’s see who are described: (fourteen facts)
And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
1st it states they are from the tribes of Israel. That makes them Jews.
2nd each of the 12 tribes are listed (7:5-8) and it states 12,000 from each tribe. Ergo 12,000 x 12 = 144,000 All Jews!
3rd it states (7:3) that they are sealed (by God) in their foreheads.
Does this mean others can see the seal?
The next mention of the 144,00 is in Revelation 14:1. Is there more information about them?
Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
4th they are on Mount Sion with the LAMB. (That’s on earth in Israel.)
5th the seal is defined as HIS FATHER’S NAME in their forehead. (NOTE a study of Lamb reveals he is the Lord Jesus Christ)
Revelation 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
6th they sing a new song.
7th only they could sing the new song.
8th they were redeemed from the earth. (taken to heaven)
Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
9th they are men (not defiled with women).
10th they unmarried (virgins).
11th they follow the Lamb (believe him to be messiah).
12th they are the firstfruits (that’s a whole study).

Revelation 14:5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
13th no guile (sly or cunning) in their mouth.
14th they are without fault (no sin).

Based on the fourteen facts listed above, taken from the book of Revelation, it appears the 144,000 are virgin Jewish men, protected by God, chosen at the beginning of the Tribulation period, who will take the gospel of the kingdom (Jesus is the Messiah and will rule as King) to the world during the Tribulation. Then they will be the FIRSTFRUITS (of Jews) taken to heaven (Bodily).

Who today can claim to be one of the 144,000?

Tribulation (Revelation)

The tribulation lasts 7 years and is broken into two 3 ½ year periods
(Daniel 9:27). The time period is also referred as the week of Jacob’s trouble. The last 3 ½ years are referred to as the GREAT Tribulation (Matthew 24:21). This study is about the 7 years:

Not Yet

Matthew 16:9 Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

The Lord Jesus came to earth to present the Kingdom of Heaven to the Jews (as promised throughout the Old Testament). And His followers were expecting Him to over throw the Romans and set up this kingdom. But He had to keep warning them NOT YET, there were things that had to be fulfilled first:

Matthew 24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
Mark 8:17 And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?
Mark 11:13 And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come.
John 7:6 Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
John 7:8 Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast: for my time is not yet full come.
John 7:30 Then they sought to take him: but no man laid hands on him, because his hour was not yet come.
John 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

The Apostle Paul writing to the Jewish believers continued to tell them NOT YET:

Hebrews 2:8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.
Hebrews 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing:
Hebrews 12:4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
And even today as we are “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; (Titus 2:13)” We need to remember, though everything has been fulfilled, it’s NOT YET, but Soon!

Rapture thru Eternity

This age will be consummated.
The Christian dead will be liberated.
Living Saints will be translated.
The faithful will be remunerated.
The Heavens will be animated.
The worldly church will be humiliated.
The modern critics will be repudiated.
The godless will be located.
God’s truth will be confirmed.
The world will be consternated.
The faithless will be remonstrated.
The tribulation will be inaugurated.
The earth will be renovated.
Suffering will be terminated.
Sin will be eradicated.
Holiness will be perpetuated.
The End will be the Beginning.
