Daniel 12 gives an overview of this period, which he “understood not”.
Revelation 12:6-17 The Anti-Christ (now indwelt by Satan) goes after God’s people, the Jew to eradicate all of them from Earth. The Jew is forced to run for their lives:

7 The War

Revelation 16:16 And he gathered them together into a place called in the Hebrew tongue … ARMAGEDDON …..

Joel 3:2-15 reasons for and details of the Battle.
Zechariah 14:1-2 (the horrors of the war) Behold, the day of the LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

Amos 9:8-10 Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth; saving that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith the LORD. For, lo, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all nations, like as corn is sifted in a sieve, yet shall not the least grain fall upon the earth. All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, which say, The evil shall not overtake nor prevent us.
Note: As you read this, remember: Jacob is the natural Jew (unbeliever), Israel is the Spiritual Jew (Believer).

Revelation 19:17-19 (more details) And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God. That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great. And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.

And just when it looks like the Anti-Christ will emerge the victor.

10 The Reign

A 1000 years of peace
Isaiah 2:2-4 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem. And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
This is also promised in Micah 4:1-8, Zechariah 14:16-21, Amos 9:11-15
Another reference is Psalm 110 concerning end times
The Lord Jesus will fulfill ALL of the Promises made to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob: the Jewish Nation.

11 The Release

The bottomless pit is mentioned in Revelation 9:1-2,11, 11:7, 17:8
It appears to be a vile, horrible place.

After 1000 years of peace… Satan is released from the bottomless pit.

Revelation 20:7 Satan loosed and given power to test, tempt mankind. (Compare JOB 1:6-12)

13 The Great White Throne

The final Judgement of SIN (rebellion against God). It comes at the end of the 1000-year reign of Christ Jesus on earth. Read Revelation 20-21.

Old testament Saints (Those who believed in God by Faith) will not be there as they went to heaven with Christ at his resurrection (Ephesians 4:8-10).

Believers who have died since the resurrection are also in Heaven,
2 Corinthians 5:8 and won’t be there. And we who are alive when the rapture occurs, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 also won’t be Judged at the Great White Throne.

Then who will be judged at the Great White Thone?
According to Revelation 20, all the unbelievers, unsaved, all those who have rebelled since Satan fell from heaven, Isaiah 14:12-15.

The Devil (having been freed from the bottomless pit, Revelation 20:3,7 will be cast alive into the LAKE OF FIRE where the beast and false prophet are. Revelation 20:10

All unbelievers (alive and those in Hell (who will be brought up)
Revelation 20:12-13 will be brought before the Great White Throne and Judged – GUILTY. They along with DEATH and HELL will be cast into the LAKE OF FIRE. Revelation 20:14-15

Again, NO BELIEVER (those who expressed faith in God through Christ Jesus) will not be Judged at the Great White Throne. Believers judgment was at the Judgement (Bema) seat of Christ:
2 Corinthians 5:10, Romans 14:11-12, 1 Corinthians 3:11-15
Believers never need fear the Great White Throne Judgement.
Believers are at the Great White Throne it will be “To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;”. Read Psalm 149

14 The New Future

On into Eternity …. What will it be like?? How glorious will it be?? What will the believer be doing??

A NEW Heaven and Earth Revelation 21:1
A NEW Jerusalem Revelation 21:2-27
These appear to be for God’s people, the Jew.
But what about the Believers?
The ones who have trusted the Lord Jesus as their Savior, the Church, during the age of Grace?

As the Scripture says …
Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

The Apostle Paul also reminds the believer …
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.

No One can even imagine; it’s more than our minds can conceive. BUT it will be beyond GLORIOUS!
Remember, there’s a whole universe out there!!!

Psalm 110

Like Psalm 2 this Psalm is prophetic in nature.

1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.
2 The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion: rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.
3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
4 The LORD hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

Vs 1 God the Father speaks the God the Son (the Lord Jesus) and it being fulfilled even as you read this.
Vs 2-3 Fulfilled during the Millennium.
Vs 4 Melchizedek first appears to Abram (Genesis 14) And then is referred to by Paul (Hebrews 7:1-3)
Vs 5-7 The Great White Throne Judgement
