Well Done

In a parable the lord tells of two faithful servants, both of who, doubled the talents given them:
Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
Matthew 25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
But to the unfaithful one who buried his talent he said:
Matthew 25:28-29 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which hath ten talents. For unto every one that hath shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that hath not shall be taken away even that which he hath.

Christ Is All Part 2

Another popular song:
Well, I don’t possess houses or land
Fine clothes or jewelry, sorrows and cares
In this whole word my life seems to me
But I have a Christ who paid the price
Way back on Cavalry, and oh
He is all, all and all this world to me

Christ is all
Well, he’s everything to me
Don’t you know that he’s all
Well, just ‘ruse the land and see
He’s all, he’s all, he’s all
All and all this world to me

Well, there are some folk who look and long
For this world’s riches, oh yes
There some folk who look for power, position too, oh yes
But I have a Christ, whole in my life
This makes me happy, and oh
He’s all, all and all this world to me

Christ is all
Well, he’s everything to me
Don’t you know that he’s all
Well, just ‘ruse the land and see
He’s all, he’s all, he’s all
All and all this world to me

Well, ‘Christ is all’ means more to me
Than this world’s riches, oh yes
He’s my sight, my guiding light
Through pathless seas, oh yes
It’s mighty nice to have a price
Who will your friend be? Tell you-
He’s all, all and all this world to me

Christ is all
Well, he’s everything to me
Don’t you know that he’s all
Y’just ‘ruse the land and see
He’s all, he’s all, he’s all
All and all this world to me

Wedding

Weddings in the Bible were sometimes lavish, noisy and costly, with lots of gifts and plenty of eating and drinking. Some things don’t change. There is no actual description of a wedding in the Scripture.
So, let’s look at a few mentioned.

Jacobs wedding Genesis 27:46-29:28 tells the whole story of his search for a wife. Genesis 29:22 (hints a big wedding) And Laban gathered together all the men of the place, and made a feast.
Judges 14 Samson’s wedding 10-11 So his father went down unto the woman: and Samson made there a feast; for so used the young men to do. And it came to pass, when they saw him, that they brought thirty companions to be with him.
Some other Scripture suggesting the grandeur of some weddings:
Song of Solomon 3:11 Go forth, O ye daughters of Zion, and behold king Solomon with the crown wherewith his mother crowned him in the day of his espousals, and in the day of the gladness of his heart.
Psalms 45:13-15 The king’s daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold. She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee. With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king’s palace.
Isaiah 61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.

Matthew 22:2-12 A parable describing a wedding.
John 2 The wedding in Cana of Galilee appears to have been a large affair.

Yes, Some Weddings in the Scripture were lavish, noisy and costly as they are today. It’s a shame that so many today end in divorce.

GOD’S PLAN

GOD’S PLAN a Radio Message

May GOD’S richest blessings be yours as we take time to meditate in His Word.
Think about how God has invaded history.
The Holy Spirit has recorded Peter’s words to Israel concerning the life, death and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth.
Acts 2:22-23 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know: Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
He quotes David, using him as an example to establish that Jesus is the Christ, that Jesus is LORD .
Acts 2:36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God hath made the same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
Jesus is the Christ, that Jesus is LORD. JESUS is indeed GOD IN FLESH.

Think of it – GOD became MAN and dwelt among us – God invaded History.

Had it ever happened before? Had God ever invaded life on this planet before?
As any student of Scripture knows, the answer is YES.

Time prevents a real look into each event, but let us ponder a few ….
The Garden of Eden …
The flood when Noah, his wife, 3 sons and their wives were saved in the Ark
The tower of Babble …
Choosing of Abram (renaming him Abraham) ….
The birth of Moses …
Setting the Children of Israel free from Egypt …
The list goes on …..

The question then arises, WILL GOD AGAIN INVAID HISTORY?
The answer is YES …
During the Translation of the Church (Rapture)…
The returning of the LORD Jesus in all His glory, establishing His 1000 year reign on earth …
But, right now, more important … God wants to invade your life …
He wants to dwell in you, to be your God …
2 Corinthians 2:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Family

Family, Parents, Fathers Mothers, and children, all these words are under attack today. Not just the words but the very meaning of the words.
Parents no longer mean a father (male) and a mother (female) who have given birth (or adopted) a child.
Father no longer means the male partner in a family with children.
Mother no longer refers to a female partner in a family with children.
Mother is no longer a female who has given birth to a baby, she is now called a birthing parent.
And men can also be called birthing Parent? Getting pregnant and giving birth?
A child is no longer Boy (male) or Girl (female).
When we remove God from everything, turn our backs on Him, this is the result.
AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH. See Noah.

But what does the Bible, God’s word have to say about these things?
