Agate is believed to have grounding and stabilizing properties, and is often used to promote balance, harmony, and calm. It is also said to enhance mental function and increase energy.

Agate is a type of quartz that also comes from the Chalcedony group. It is one of the gemstones that have many colors, shades, patterns, and meanings.

Agate appears 3 times in the Scripture.
It was one of the jewels in the third row of the high priest’s breastplate.

Exodus 28:19 And the third row a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
Exodus 39:12 And the third row, a ligure, an agate, and an amethyst.
Ezekiel 27:16 Syria was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.
