It’s about time, it’s about space
It’s all about the human race.
It’s about man and his evil ways,
And he continues in sin all his days.
That’s the Bible, The word of God.
It’s about me, it’s about you,
It’s about our being sinners too!
It’s about sin and what it cost,
All about dying and being lost.
That’s the Bible, The word of God.
It’s about heaven and another place,
It’s about God’s redeeming grace.
It’s about what happens to the soul,
It’s about the day and where you’ll go.

It’s about the man from Galilee,
Who lived his life perfectly,
To fulfill the law and pay the price
That I should die only once, not twice.
That’s the Bible, The word of God.
It’s about the price that had to be paid,
It’s about God and the sacrifice He made.
It’s about His Son upon the cross,
It’s about His dying for the lost.
That’s the Bible, The word of God.
It’s about His coming up out of the grave,
Victory He promised, lost souls to save!
Taken into Heaven amidst all Glory and Laud,
Seated on His throne next to God!

It’s about life, new life eternally,
Life that’s a gift, completely free.
Life that’s given to those who believe,
And who Christ as Savior will believe!
That’s the Bible, The word of God.
It’s about accepting God’s great love,
It’s about rising to new heights above.
Above the world and it’s evil way,
Looking ahead for Christ to return some day.
That’s the Bible, The word of God.
It’s about His coming to take me home,
To dwell with Him no more to roam.
With power over sin, no more to stray,
Power from Him will be given that day!

It’s about that wonderous, glorious time,
To hear the Master claim “This one’s mine”!
We’ll be with Him forever to praise,
Forever, forever no ending of days!
