Is only found in 2 of the 4 Gospels:
Mark 1:14-15 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.
Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Matthew 9:35 And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people.
Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
The Kingdom the Lord Jesus presented was the 1000 years when He shall rule over the Earth.
Apply the rule: Who said it and to whom was it spoken to!
The Lord Jesus said it …to the Jew.
The Apostle Paul (Apostle to the Gentiles, Church) never mentions the Gospel of the Kingdom of God.
The Gospel of the Kingdom of God DOES NOT apply to the Church (Believer’s)! But there is a kingdom for believer’s today: a spiritual kingdom.
Colossians 1:13-14 Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
Ron Rhodes, Theology Professor at Dallas Theological Seminary, offers this bite-sized definition of the Kingdom of God: “God’s present spiritual reign over His people (Colossians 1:13) and Jesus’ future reign in the millennial kingdom (Revelation 20).”
Old Testament scholar Graeme Goldsworthy summarized the Kingdom of God in even fewer words as, “God’s people in God’s place under God’s rule.”
