There’s an old adage about the Bible, Gods Word:  “Concealed in the Old, Revealed in the New”.  The reason for this study is found in ROMANS 15:4, 1 CORINTIANS 10:11 and 2 TIMOTHY 3:16:

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

1 Corinthians 10:11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

2 Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

The word scripture of course refers to the Old Testament (as none of the New Testament had yet been written).

Following the adage above, the New Testament was searched Book by Book looking for Direct Quotes and references to the Old Testament. This study is by no means exhausted as there were probably references missed. But the following is a starting point for anyone wanting to continue the search.
