THE LORD’S PRAYER Reminders in Prayer (2)
9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.11 Give us this day our daily bread.12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Prayer reminds us that God is the Almighty.
We were created by God for fellowship with God.
…God planned our restoration to Himself.
…God’s promises are true even in the face of evil.
……He gives us peace (John 16:33)
……He always loves us (Romans 8:35-37)
……He gives us victory (1 John 5:4)
Prayer reminds us that Satan has established his own kingdom.
To interfere with God’s kingdom (John 10:10)
…God is LOVE (1 John 4:8; Satan is hate (1 John 3:7-15)
…God is LIFE (John 14:6); Satan brings death (Hebrews 2:14)
Satan’s attack on Believers is intentional (Eph 6:10-12)
Prayer is a key defense and offense against Satan (Eph 6:18)
Prayer reminds us that we must fully surrender to God.
Satan must surrender his agenda to God.

…..Lost mankind desperately needs to surrender to God
…..Believers must surrender their personal desires (Romans 12:1-2)
Prayer reminds us that God reigns everywhere.
